FAQs

This is the section they call frequently asked questions. We're to pretend that we are asked these questions all the time to the point we call them frequently asked. Really these are questions we anticipate you might ask. If you have a question that isn't on this list, feel free to reach out. Messaging us does not enter you in any way into any kind of marketing or email funnel. We'll just answer your question(s). If you want to meet, you can let us know. We try not to be annoying.

  • Should I hire in-house or work with an agency?

It depends on your business goals, budget, and needs. Hiring in-house can make sense if you need a full-time specialist, but it also means taking on the responsibility of managing that person. If you are not a marketing expert yourself, it can be difficult to know what to expect, what to track, or how to guide them effectively.

When you hire in-house, you are often bringing on a generalist—someone with broad marketing knowledge but not deep expertise in every area. With an agency, you get access to a team of subject matter experts across multiple disciplines for the same cost, or less, than hiring one full-time employee. Agencies also bring experience from working with a variety of businesses, so you benefit from tested and proven strategies rather than trial and error.

That said, we do believe in working toward the goal of bringing marketing in-house at some point. Whether you need help developing a strategy, executing campaigns, or structuring an internal marketing team for long-term success, we can support you at every stage.

  • Is a marketing strategy just posting on TikTok?

Not quite. While posting on TikTok or any platform is a tactic, a true marketing strategy goes much deeper. It starts with understanding your business, your audience, and your growth goals so that every effort drives real results, not just views.

That is why we use the STAAR method. This 360-degree approach ensures all your marketing efforts work together to fuel long-term growth. When you are in your business every day, it can be hard to see the bigger picture. An outside perspective can uncover blind spots, identify missed opportunities, and bring clarity to what will actually drive growth. That is the value of hiring someone, even if it is just for help with strategy.

If you want to implement the strategy yourself, we are happy to create the plan so you can run with it. If you prefer a full-service approach, we can execute it for you. No matter what, it all starts with the right strategy.

  • How much do you cost?

We get asked about our pricing a lot, and we understand why, you just want a clear answer. Here’s the thing: our rates typically range between $1,500 and $5,000, depending on the level of support your business needs.

Some businesses just need a strategy they can implement themselves, while others prefer us to handle everything. We offer flexible, a la carte options for individual services, or you can opt for a full-service solution where we act as your fractional marketing team.

There are no setup fees, no onboarding costs, and we don’t work with contracts. We want to make it easy to start working with us, without any extra hurdles.

Instead of guessing what might fit, let’s chat. No pressure, no hard sell, just a conversation to determine what makes the most sense for your business.

  • How do you measure success?

Revenue is the ultimate goal, but success is about more than just the final number. The key is tracking the right indicators that lead to revenue growth.

During the strategy formulation, we determine which KPIs matter most for your business. These guide our marketing efforts and help us measure progress along the way. Instead of focusing on surface-level metrics, we track the numbers that show real impact.

Every campaign is built with a clear path to growth. We continuously analyze results and refine the approach to ensure everything is working toward increasing your revenue.

  • Do you offer free consultations or audits before we commit?

Yes. A discovery call is always free. While our time is valuable, we never charge for an initial conversation. It is important for us to understand your business, your goals, and your challenges before deciding if we are the right fit.

Not every business needs our services, and we are not the right agency for everyone. That is why we take the time to have an honest conversation upfront. We will assess your current marketing efforts, answer your questions, and provide insights to help you move forward, whether you work with us or not.

There is no pressure and no obligation. Just a conversation to see if we can help you grow.

  • Why is Game of Tones your favorite Futurama episode?

My wife and I disagree on this. The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings is her favorite and it's a very close 2nd for me.

But Game of Tones is my favorite becuase of the story with Fry's mom. There were several jokes throughout the series about how little Fry's family cared about him, but that wasn't true.

At the end of this episode, Fry gets to visit his mom in one of her dreams. It's clear she missed him. From her perspective remember, Fry went to work one night and was never heard from again. For the rest of her life, she never knew what happened to her son. It had to be actually devastating for her.

That moment in her dream is my favorite moment of the whole series.
